I believe in Karma
of the past life

If it has not been our past Karma
we would not have met in this life.
We would not have been connected,
I would not have been close
to what you were thinking.

If it has not been our past Karma
you may have chosen another to marry
and I may have done the same

But it was our past Karma
that put us together again
and we were grateful
we found each other again in this life

I appreciate our past Karma,
and the love that it brought.

Let's just take each other's hands
and walk through this life
cherishing the love we have
and being grateful for
what we were, are, and will be
to each other
